I grew up in a very strange and small town called Bakersfield, California . At least small in mentality. It was big enough to have a few people of most subcultures represented... But not big enough for any to have a scene of there own. I think that is why i am open to many different types of people and have such diverse interests. It Also was very a dramatic and aggressive environment . My roots are goth , punk , new wave, and alternative and music.
How do you see yourself now?
I have been an artist for a long time. it
seems i am always working to evolve to the next level. so often see my self in
transition.
What is the biggest opportunity that you
have ever had?
Commercially, working with B Akerlund and
Beyonce on the H&M campaign.. It was a lot of exposure and support for my
label.

I see my label House of Malakai as being a full
label, not just focused on hats.
